Preparation for Graduate and Professional School
Helping students prepare for life beyond Butler is something we take seriously. In fact, our Office of Post-Graduate Studies, assists students with:
- Graduate and Professional School Advising: selecting the right school or program and assisting with the whole application process.
- Standardized Test Preparation: Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) prep through on-campus workshops.
- Informational Programs: guest speakers and panels provide opinions and information on a variety of topics.
- Networking Opportunities: connecting students with Butler alumni and other professionals for mentoring, networking and job shadowing.
- Resource Library: a central source for application materials, placement information, program guides and more.

Approximately 20% of students who graduate from Butler choose to go on to graduate or professional school immediately. Their programs of study include traditional degrees such as law, medicine and business administration, as well as programs in communications, genetics and organic chemistry.
