Well, I'm offically DONE with classes! I was always told that my senior year would fly by the fastest, but wow... Everyone was right! It's amazing when I look back on this year and think how fast it has gone. I'm not sure how it is possibSle that I'm done with classes forever. So weird to think about!! It was great though... As I walked out of my last class ever at Butler University my professor looked at me and said "You know, I had you for your first class here and now your last." I think that pretty much sums up why I have had the experience I have at BU. If I had gone to a larger school there is no way my professor would have realized something like that! I probably would have just been a name on a roster. Instead, my professor realized that he had me for my first and last class at Butler. And we kept in contact in the middle and he was always such a help to me as well! *Sigh*, I'll definitely miss Butler!
I think now is the time where I'm getting very sentimental...yes, already. Every time I walk through the roads and sidewalks of Butler I look around and memories flood back. Memories of walking those sidewalks so late at night after long nights of studying... Memories of walking those roads on the way back to my sorority house after spending an evening with friends at a fraternity house. So much fun!! Homecomings, formals, organization events... I'm telling you, college is indeed everything it is cracked up to be! In fact, I would say it's safe to say it's even more. I knew I was going to love the college life, but I had no idea how much.
This past week I've had to give out my "permanent" e-mail address a few times and fill out senior surveys. I've also had to pass the torch onto new officers for all of my organizations. These are eye opening experiences I tell you! It has really started to hit home. I must say though, I don't think it will really hit me that it's all over until next August when the school year begins and I am still working at a full time job.
Anyhow, enough of all that for the moment... It's finals week. Which for most students means buckling down in the library and not seeing daylight for the week. I've been there, I know! However, that's one bright spot of being a senior. I do have four finals, but only two of them should be tough. And I must admit... It's a little tough to convince myself to study knowing that I graduate in a week and a half and already have a full time job! None the less though, I do need to study some so I guess I'd better get to it. One last time, right?! Watch for more to come as I count down the days to graudation!!
