...Had to jump on the band wagon of cockiness and brag about our win Saturday night!! I waited outside in the freeeeezing cold in a line that snaked all around the HRC for about an hour to get into the basketball game against Ohio State on Saturday. The game was unreal! There were some people who left at halftime, and they are hating life right about now. I've never seen Hinkle so packed, and I definitely had half of a voice once it was all over with!

This was the line to get into the game about an hour before it started. I about froze, but it was a good time, like a social event! People were yelling, cheering, and some were eating Qdoba...
The rest of the weekend was a blast, too. I met my best friend of all time living in Ross my freshman year. She has since transferred because of her major, and now she is moving to Florida. Saaaaad for me, but we spent a lot of time together over the weekend and she had a going away party as well, so that was fun. We were driving on the south side of Indianapolis and saw this sign...I made her pull over so that I could take the picture. I feel like Jesus is a pretty busy guy to have to take three hours out of his day for breakfast, but maybe I'm wrong.....

Anyway, you'll be happy to know that I have finally accepted an internship with the Butler Business Accelerator. It sounds like a great opportunity, and I'll get to work with a variety of people in a variety of industries. Plus, it's right here on campus, and the pay is pretty sweet as well. I'm actually starting on the 17th, after finals are over with, so I'm getting excited. Visit www.butler.edu/accelerator for more info.. it's a cool program. I had a couple of other offers, so it's been tough making the "decline" phone call. I have a Comm Studies major though, so I feel like I was about as prepared as I could have been to make the calls.
I went to a Career Fair on campus last week and got information from about 7 different places. It was weird to have to tell them "No, I'm not looking for an internship....I'm looking for a job." I've already gotten responses from a few of them though, so that's exciting! Butler hosts a few of these a semester and it's a great place to get your feet wet and meet some people.
It's the Butler American Marketing Association's last event tomorrow night; I can't believe the semester is practically over with. I just had my last chapter meeting with my sorority as an Exec member as well! Crazy. At the end of chapter all of the Exec members got up and did a short impersonation of another member of Exec, and we let the rest of the women guess who we were. I've never laughed so hard in my life!!
My Retailing class has been working on a research project for Finish Line (the store) all semester, and this week we're wrapping everything up and actually going to the FL headquarters (it's in Indianapolis) to present to them on Friday. It's exciting, but there's still a lot of work to be done, so that's what will dominate my week. Other than that, I just have a paper and two finals to study for. Life as a Senior..not bad, not bad!
Here are some more pictures from the game...get pumped for this weekend's match-ups!

Freezing our butts off waiting to get into the basketball game

Go Dawgs!
..we'd go on to score 13 more points, and hold the Buckeyes to just two more points !
