it's (almost) the most wonderful time of the year!

Finals are in full swing and everyone's a little tense. Unnnnlessss you're a senior and you only have two finals, both of which you're allowed to bring a cheat sheet to!!!! My Corporate Finance and Consumer Behavior finals are both tomorrow, but I get a one-page, two-sided paper with anything I want on it for both tests, so it shouldn't be bad.

My retailing class's presentation to Finish Line was AWESOME. The President was there, as well as another guy who helped found the company, and a bunch of important people in sales, marketing, and merchandising. The Chief Officer of Merchandising actually approached me after the presentation and gave me his business card, telling me he and the head marketing guy (his title is probably a lot fancier than that) were impressed with my portion of the presentation, and told me that they are interested in hiring new people on. Soooo that's pretty sweet!!! I love networking. It's the greatest thing ever.

I've officially begun my training for the mini triathlon I'm doing in April, and I have to say that I am THE WORST swimmer of all time. I've gone three times in the past week or so, and I can tell that I improve a tiny bit each time, but wow it's rough. It's nice that the Health & Rec Center has all of the facilities that I need to train though -- a 6-lane pool, indoor track, and tons of stationary bikes (with their own TV screens right in front of you!!)

 The Health and Recreation Complex.

I'm starting my internship on Monday, so it's not quite time to go home yet, but it'll still be nice to be done with classes. I'm making Christmas cookies with all of the girls on my mom's side of the family on Saturday (it's an annual tradition), and I cannot WAIT!
