SO CLOSE!
Well friends, I just took my last exam today!!! (Jane Austen quote identification....intense!) but it went fine. I work for the professor whose class it was so I actually had to grade my own exam! ha. Good thing there was a key so it was either right or wrong!....actually my prof looked it over after I graded it and ended up giving me back a point because I had graded myself too harshly, apparently.
Now, all that stands between me and freedom is 6 more pages of my museum studies paper.
I am actually really excited about it, because it's about the portrayal of women in museums (I picked the topic because I'm a Gender Studies minor so that interests me). This class has been so interesting. I actually signed up for it 2 weeks into the semester after I got bored in a Journalism 101 class and needed something to fill my schedule, but it ended up being awesome. We got to go on tons of field trips and had really interesting discussions with some museum curators. I'm actually thinking about trying to get an internship at a museum now - how sweet would that be? Maybe I should check out the Indianapolis Children's Museum?? It's only about 5 minutes away and it was totally my favorite when I was a kid.
Okay, if you haven't noticed by now, I'm stalling on the paper writing, so I should probably STOP blogging.
I just wanted to share with you the excitement of being almostdone! I'm sticking around Butler this weekend so check back for another update soon.
Peace out, Girl Scouts!
(ha I'm so amused by that phrase.)
