I am extremely thrilled to be writing to you from the lobby of the Wynfrey hotel in Birmingham, Alabama... yeah, that's right! I'm on location for the Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament!!! Butler plays S. Alabama tomorrow and I am here as a member of the Basketball Band to support them, and the excitement is unreal.
I actually just saw Avery Jukes and Willie Veasley down here in the lobby. Guess they wanted to use the free wireless, too... gotta update facebook ; )
Anyway, we had a pep rally yesterday afternoon to send the team off, and then the band, cheerleaders and fan bus left Indy at 8 am this morning. After a long bus ride of homework, naps and movies, we made it to Birmingham! We're all just SO excited for the game tomorrow that it's hard to think about anything else...
Make sure you cheer for the Dawgs tomorrow and of course, watch for me on tv tomorrow! 2:30 pm!!
