....is kinda here.  this is supposedly the quiet time in admission offices, but clearly that's a myth.  although, it is quiet around here as everyone uses up the last of their vacation days.  we can't get them all used up the rest of the year!  speakign of up, i'm looking forward to seeing the new pixar movie this weekend.  they can't miss, but i'm not too sure about this one.  i had the fun of going to walt disney world the end of april.  now, there are those that hate on disney, but then there are those of us that would be perfectly happy living there and obsess on all things mouse.  i'm not as bad as some--andy white--but i do love the wdw. 

things are looking pretty good around here, and our incoming class is getting ready.  we worked really hard this year on the students who ar ecoming to butler.  i'm really grateful i had the opportunity to work closely with a handful of students from michigan and western indiana.  things aren't done yet, and we are still getting things done, but i can;t wait to see a few of you on campus in august.  and of course, we're already planning for next year.  our resident web & tech person, kristen, is taping little videos of all us knucklehead counselors.  ugh.  but hopefully students will get a little laugh and a little info about butler once those are posted. 

construction continues on the new pharmacy building outside my window.  supposed to be wrapped up by august start of classes, and i will not miss the beeping of cement and other contruction vehicles.
