Time to get Down to Business
We had our last workout on Tuesday, and we don't have practice for Nicaragua until after finals. I'll still hit the weight room a few times before then, but now it's all about the student side of being a student athlete. Today after I shoot my last story for advanced reporting they're having the student athlete's appreciation event between two baseball games. I hope I have a chance to make it. They give out awards such as: MVP of each team, the community service award, and the team with the highest GPA. The weather has been so gorgeous outside that I hope I can make it.

It can get a little crazy sometimes, but that's part of the learning process. All the coaches here are very good at helping you stay on track on the court and in the classroom.

I learned really fast about what works for me and what doesn't but the biggest thing that I caught on to fast was time management. Whenever I start slacking on how I use my time, I have to make up for it later.

Usually, it comes really natural after a few weeks, and of course it is so much fun playing sports at Butler. We're like our own little family around here. :)
