It's the most wonderful time of the year!

One of my favorite parts of living in a residence hall is getting to decorate my room however I want to for the holidays. It's also really fun to see the other girls' rooms decorated as well. Even our bathroom gets a festive theme with each change of season! So keeping up with the Christmas spirit, I started decorating my dorm as soon as I arrived back at Butler from break. Complete with garland and a mini tree, my room is fully decked out!

Thanks! And yes, there are plenty of rules about what can and cannot be in the dorm rooms. For example, we're not supposed to have string lights or extension cords or anything like that. Also, we're not allowed to put pins or nails into the walls. That being said, there are plenty of ways to work around the rules to decorate your room. I would definitely recommend stocking up on 3M Command Hooks (the ones that don't leave marks on the walls) before moving in! I use them for everything... hanging my jewlrey, memo boards, curtains, etc. They're great! So yeah, I hope that answered your question! If you have anything else you'd like to ask, just let me know! :]
