Thanksgiving Dinner
This year for thanksgiving I went along with my host family for dinner with a twist. Unlike last year this year they introduced themes to the dinner and unfortuneatly the theme this year was international cuisine
...of course there were still the traditional dishes (enough to fill all of us at least twice) ie turkey pumpkin pie etc but in addition I also prepared two dishes macaroni pie (like mac n cheese but not really, actually not at all) and my favorite stew chicken yummy. But disaster struck the chicken was completely....... tasteless (oh no!)

ok so the location of the dinner was at a friends house and there were alot of different families and friends there so = MORE FOOD ! Back to the issue of the tasteless chicken - so luckily John (dad of my host family) was a chef and so he made some spicy mexican beans which added awsome flavors to the stew chicken hence saving the day lol. After dinner we all watched the game (Colts the best team ever) neway that about kina sums up my 2nd turkey day experience.
I think its pretty cool that Butler provides int'ls with an opportunity to have a host family..and to all international incoming freshmen I would strongly suggest that you do the same ... you won't regret it!!
