Tonight I finally made it to Hinkle to watch our Butler ladies play some volleyball. I had never been to a volleyball game, so it was fun and interesting to go cheer on the Bulldogs to another win over Loyola. Freshman Gina Vera is a friend of mine and in one of my classes, so I had been wanting to go...

This week was pretty amazing for having to go back to school right after break. I was dreading having to get back into a schedule coming back to Butler but a few fun events this week have brightened the dreaded week. Here are a few disney pictures! We took so many I had a hard time deciding which ones...

Good evening ya'll! I'm reporting tonight from Greensboro, North Carolina, site of the first round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Whenever the team travels for the NCAA, they get to bring along 12 cheerleaders and 30 band members to support them, and I got to be part of the band...

So, I hate to admit it, but I have been extremely lame this spring break! With the exception of some fun NUVO internship activity and putting the final touches on my story which will run next week (YAY!), my spring break life quickly disintegrated into a lot of studying and hanging out with small children...

Hello all! Like I told you recently, my schedule has been pretty hectic... but of course, my busy schedule is voluntary, and typically pretty fun. Sometimes it amazes me when I look at the variety of things I do all in one day. Take Wednesday, for example: 6 or 7 am (don't remember) - Wake up, shower...

Oh yes the dreaded day is coming: Where everyone is lovey dovey and holding hands and there are pink and red hearts everywhere and chocolate of all kinds has replaced the abundance of ramen once stashed in girls' rooms. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate valentines day, I just think its one...

Hey everyone! It has been a basketball-filled weekend here at BU, and today was even better because I got to share the excitement with some of you - live! Today we had an event at Butler for admitted students and their families - a huge pizza party with Bazbeaux's (Indy's best, in my opinion...

The polls will open in about 5 hours or so on the east coast....and hopefully in 24 hours we will know who our next president will be. :) For some of us, this...

I finally got back from Birmingham, Alabama last night. It was an amazing trip that I didn't even think I'd get to go on. When the list was made for the trip, I had played too few games to be able to have a spot. However, someone slept in on the morning the bus left, and they called me, and I...

Ok, not the whole country. But we DID beat the University of South Alabama in the first round of the NCAA here in Birmingham, Alabama! YES, they had the home court advantage but we still beat them by 20 points (Final Score: 81-61). The game was so much fun. If you haven't been keeping up with my...

Ahh, the end of spring break! What a sad time for all college students... Actually, I don't mind heading back to class, because I'm so excited about being back at Butler. I spent half of my break in Indy, and the other half wishing I was still there! There's always so much going on at Butler...

As you may already know, Butler played against Cleveland State for the Horizon League Championship on Tuesday night. Seeing as how I’m stuck in my hometown for the remainder of spring break, some of my friends and I decided to go to the game to cheer on the dawgs! Unfortunately, not many students were...
