Ok so this week has been absolutely outrageous. Or let me rephrase that....the past two weeks have been absolutely outrageous. I started to realize this whenever everyone kept saying that they needed a break, and we had all just gotten back from Fall Break. Basically, its intense, and my roommate Nicole...

Let me begin with a couple disclaimers. 1. I do love children. 2. I can say that, because to quote Demetri Martin, "You can say 'I love kids' as a general statement, that’s fine. It’s when you get specific that you get in to trouble. 'I love twelve-year-olds.'" With...

One of the awful benefits of actually being an engineer is, actually being able to boast about having to study 24/7 and not get ragged on by your friends for doing so. Its kind of like an unspoken agreement ... except not really. These past four days were filled with adventure from writing 24 page lab...

I'm just going to give you a quick update, and I might delete this post once I've written a proper one. Hence the title. Though I rather like the title, so maybe I'll leave this up and the title will be completely nonsensical. Anyway, I'm busy. So so busy. Sunday was fairly crazy. I:...

Ah yet another fall semester is almost done and in 2 days the long weekend known as Fall break will bring quiet mayhem to the streets of Butler. Though I shouldn't participate in the festivities, because I still have classes as normal at IUPUI, I'll make an exception this year...(and every year...

So as I am writing this, I am freezing. Maybe it's because I'm sitting right next to my room's A/C unit, but maybe it is because it is freezing outside all of the sudden! (And by freezing I mean...in the 60's.) Either way, it became way too cold all too soon for my tastes. I like the...

Thanksgiving Break is here. I was very much looking forward to it. Not only because of its definite interruption of the daily grind, but also because I have not yet been home this semester. For Fall Break I went to my room mate’s house. There is a short and very awkward video of us on our way back already...

For my first two years at Butler, I was playing on the golf team and so I had to stick around campus during Fall Break because we always left for a tournament on the Sunday at the end of the break. Campus was always quiet, so I could get some really productive studying done, but it also got lonely. Last...

Fall break wasn't much of a break for me, I was busy the whole time! The adventure began Wednesday afternoon. Everyone was trying to figure out how they were going to get to their respective locations to catch their airplanes, buses etc. Only a few girls in the unit have their cars here at Butler...

So here we are back at Butler after a wonderfully relaxing Fall Break. I don't know about anyone else, but I wasn't ready to come back after break...I needed like one more day. Then I would have been completely ready to come back. :) I think that's because I was just so busy doing things...

As the afternoon grew long on Wednesday, it was as if tumbleweed began to blow through campus and the sound of crickets became deafening. It was even worse today as things were eerily quiet on campus and Friday may be even more solemn yet. Why? Fall break, of course. Upon the completion of the last classes...

Let me first start by saying I'm writing this from HOME! Yes folks, that's right. I have once again made it back to good 'ol Fremont, Indiana. It's the first time I've been home since the very beginning of August! I guess that just goes to show how much fun Butler can be and how much...

So finally, fall break is here! :) I have been so ready for a break...so this feels wonderful! The only problem is that while I'm here I have to write a paper and work on a speech....but I can fall asleep on my couch watching tv with my family again, which I love. Something else that I really appreciate...

Butler's campus is gorgeous right now! The leaves are changing into beautiful shades of red and orange, the weather is perfectly warm and balmy...Indiana has a lovely autumn. However, the weather compensates for the chaos of classes currently. Since tomorrow marks the end of the week and the beginning...

This past weekend I headed to Cincinnatti / Kentucky with 18 of my friends to go to a midyear meeting for Kappa Psi. There are several meetings across the country around this time of the year, and the meeting we went to was for chapters across the Midwest - from as far west as Wisconsin, as far north...
