I think it is pretty safe to categorize me as an urbanite. I've lived in residential neighborhoods for the majority of my life... but always close to a city. When I was in elementary school, I actually lived IN the city, in Tokyo, Japan. I used to take two trains every morning to commute to school...
So, I hate to admit it, but I have been extremely lame this spring break! With the exception of some fun NUVO internship activity and putting the final touches on my story which will run next week (YAY!), my spring break life quickly disintegrated into a lot of studying and hanging out with small children...

My parents came up to visit me and my brother this weekend for the 4th and my birthday (which was yesterday). We went into San Francisco for the day and explored around, and then came back to Davis for a local fireworks show that was probably the best I have ever seen. It was really nice to see my family...
