As a senior, I've finally reached that point in my English major career where I must spend copious amounts of time with Shakespeare, but lucky for me, the semester had been enlightened with real British accents and plays come to life. Two of the actors from King Lear, courtesy of Butler's website...

Somehow when I was scheduling for my classes, I ended up in economics. I thought that CC213P The Social World was a history-like course that fulfilled the core curriculum requirement. Little did I know then, the class had a focus: economics. Granted, I had trouble getting into any classes at all so I...

Ashley, Kassandra, and I pretend we're doctors in Nashville's Adventure Science Center, June of 2009. Pretending to be doctors is illegal, kids! My face screams "I became a pharmacist to avoid guts in the OR!!" So if you're looking to be a pharmacist, you have two basic, over-arcing...

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days... MY COMPUTER CRASHED! UGH. I'm pretty sure that's a college student's worst nightmare, although thankfully I am still under warranty. This is not the first time in my college/blogging career that my computer has died , so I will repeat...

So, summer is fun, but you need some cash to enjoy it. I will be working for my dolla dolla bills this summer on-campus at the Alumni Office, which doesn't seem like work because a) I love working with alumni and do it for free all the time with the Student Foundation (aka BUSF) and b) the Alumni...

Well, I'm offically DONE with classes! I was always told that my senior year would fly by the fastest, but wow... Everyone was right! It's amazing when I look back on this year and think how fast it has gone. I'm not sure how it is possibSle that I'm done with classes forever. So weird...

Hey everyone! I always know that it's getting close to the end of the year when Early Registration starts and our campus is full of parents and high school seniors every Friday. It always makes me smile to see the next generation of Bulldogs! Since some of you are probably coming to Early Reg soon...

When I started my internship at NUVO Newsweekly at the beginning of my semester, my boss told me that he couldn't even promise that I would ever get published in the physical paper. There are lots of interns and not a lot of space for stories. Most of the interns would be publishing stories online...

So, I hate to admit it, but I have been extremely lame this spring break! With the exception of some fun NUVO internship activity and putting the final touches on my story which will run next week (YAY!), my spring break life quickly disintegrated into a lot of studying and hanging out with small children...

Hey everyone! It has been a basketball-filled weekend here at BU, and today was even better because I got to share the excitement with some of you - live! Today we had an event at Butler for admitted students and their families - a huge pizza party with Bazbeaux's (Indy's best, in my opinion...

The past week has been less than ideal. Wednesday I woke up with a queasy stomach and a pounding headache. I figured it was just the late night cookies I had been munching on while finishing up an essay late Tuesday night, and went about my business...which was quickly interrupted by a not-so-pleasant...

In case you thought the bloggers only wrote about the rosy, happy times of being a college student, here’s a post to prove you wrong. I am about to tell you about the plagues of being a college student…literally. Last weekend was our last group trip for all the Butler students. I was really...

When I first realized I would be out of the country during my first presidential election as a voter, I was really disappointed. I mean, how exciting must it be to live on an American college campus now?? Every time I get emails from College Democrats or see announcements about the Election Night viewing...

So I currently live across the Atlantic Ocean from all of my family, most of my friends, and both my homes (Chicago and Butler), in a country that does NOT speak English, in a tiny apartment with strangers... This could be very intimidating... but not with my Butler family here! There are seventeen of...

Okay, my title for today is intentionally over the top, but if you don't go to Butler, I don't think you can quite understand how awesome and friendly our professors are, how well they know us, love us, go out of their way for us, and even become our friends. I really realized this last Friday...
