 i guess something unique about me is that my mom is one of 17 kids, so i have 91 first-cousins on my mom's side of the family! i also have around 40 first-cousins-once-removed ( my cousins' kids). our family is so unbelievably large that for christmas and other holidays we rent out a gymnasium and cafeteria at a local church. so it's pretty much insanity.

I totally understand. My dad has five brothers and five sisters, and my mom has nine brothers and a sister. So my family is pretty crazy too. I haven't met about 25% of my cousins. The community I grew up in is ultra-Christian and promotes large families. I have four brothers and two sisters. (And our family of seven is one of the smaller families)

Yeah, I wouldn't understand that.  I'm the oldest of three, my mom is an only child, and my dad only has one sister.  We're a small family.

I play violin, guitar, and a little piano.  I plan on majoring in elementary education.  I want to teach first or second grade.

 i know it's so weird when to go to family parties and i don't know who everyone is. especially now that all my cousins are having kids, i can't keep any of them straigt. last christmas a little girl came up to me at our family party and asked where her mommy was. i just looked at her and said, sweetie i don't know who your mommy is! it made me laugh. my whole family is catholic, and so is our community so that's also why we have such a big family. it's different, but i love it!

I'm Lutheran.  Maybe that's the reason that I have a small family. lol  :)

 Hey I'm Ivy from Louisville, and I saw that you all are also considering Lake Forest and Otterbein. Those and Butler are my top three! So, yeah, I'll be your friend lol

yeah.  I liked Lake Forest, but it was a little small for me.  Butler and Truman are my top two.

I had a friend that went to Truman for nursing and enjoyed her 4 years. It's in MO, right?

Where are those two colleges at?  I don't think I've heard of them.
