how many students go to butler

Roughly 4,000 students go to Butler; and we are going to keep it that way. This past year Butler put a cap seal on its numbers and actually had a waiting list to get in. A true number is hard to come by because students are often transfering in and out, graduating early, etc.

We are just under 4,500 students. 3,900 undergrads and about 500 graduate students!

great question, i didn't even consider butler until i started writing on this forum. I have really enjoyed it. (I probably will apply now.)

We accept around 70% of students that apply, and it's been decreasing for the past few years.  We shoot for around 915 students each year, but as our # of applications go up, the % accepted will go down.
