what is that average SAT score for admitted freshmen

Jacob - Here is the middle 50% of the fall 08 freshman class:

SAT: writing 520-610; critical reading 520-630; math 530-650; composition 1570-1890

Hi~  I am an international student from China.   My SAT1 score is 1910( Critical Reading:530    Math:800    Writing:580~~)

I know my CR score is a little poor and I will take the SAT1 again on Dec.6 and I think I can gain pleasant scores ~~

Is my SAT1 score OK for applying to Butler?

Definetly!! Don't let your worries about standardized testing hold you back from applying. Schools will look at you as an overall person--your grades, activities, and application essays--not just how well you do on your tests. Thats awesome that you are looking at schools in the US, have you studied abroad here??

Also, good job on the math. That was my worst section haha :)

 Your scores are actually quite decent, including your CR score.  That score exempts you from having to take the TOEFL.  Just make sure you apply by the Nov. 15 deadline so we can give you full consideration for scholarships!
