I'm Kayla, and I'm guessing you know what this is about from the post title.  I like about an hour and a half from Butler, in a medium size town called Marion, only known for it's basketball :p

Random questions to start the convo:

1. What's your favourite book?

2. What movie do you love and why?

3. What's the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

and

4. Was one those a trick question?

I have AIM, so lets chat :]]

1. My Current favorite is 'Water for the Elephants'. It's just a good book, not to mention I like reading about circuses.

2. I love 'Little Miss Sunshine'. It's funny, it's sad, it's heartwarming- it has everything I need. Plus, it is great to fall asleep to.

3. African or European?

4. I believe #3 was supposed to be a trick, and it would be to anyone who hasn't seen 'The Holy Grail' as many times as they should have.

 1. Interesting choice, I believe I wrote that down to read, I just haven't gotten to it as of yet.  I'm now reading 'Then We Came to the End' It's almost like the writing style of Catch-22 meets minour characters from The Office, but my bookshelves are covered in good books, i.e. Frekonomics, I Am America (And So Can You), Common Sense, The Shadow of the Wind, etc.

2. I haven't seen that movie yet, but maybe I should now :p I quite enjoy Guy Ritchie's 'Snatch', Thank You For Smoking, and others.

3. Perfect :] It's a test we used to make all new pastors, teachers, strangers, pass before admission.

4. I concur with your assessment about how many times someone should watch that :p

2. My fave movie is probably Sweet Home Alabama because it made me laugh, it made me cry and Josh Lucas has amazing blue eyes lol

3. ummm I have absolutely no idea lol

4. I read question 3 and thought to myself Is this a trick question lol and then after i read JoeW's response I was like Ooohh I've never seen The Holy Grail so I had no idea what you were talking about lol

1.  I could never have one...too much out there.

2.  Movies...see number one.

3.  Knowing simple weight ratios, and that a five ounce bird cannot carry a one pound coconut...

4.  Three is the trick question as another Monty Python fan pointed out earlier.

1. You're making me choose ONE favorite book? That's so not fair with all the great ones out there! Ummm...well, I just finished reading Slaughterhouse-Five -- I have officially become a new fan of Kurt Vonnegut. =]

2. Movies? Since I work at a movie theater, I've seen sooo many that it's hard to choose just one. Anchorman, Stardust, The Dark Knight...I'm ALL over the place.

3. ...no comment...

4. I'd assume number three. Haha.

When you say Happy Days, do you mean Happy Days by Samuel Beckett? I'm kinda obsessed with Theatre of the Absurd plays... =D

1) Favorite book is probably the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella or the Harry Potter series, which I've loved since I was a kid.

2) Favorite movie is definitely The Dark Knight. I'm kind of a liiiitle obsessed. :)

3) Ummm without Googling this, no idea!

4) Friends tried to make me watch Monty Python years ago and I feel asleep, haha.

I just got my Butler letter today and I'm soo excited!

To Asley
