  • Mamma mia! My, where have you been?

Hey everyone! Needless to say, it's been a while. Last week, I came down with a nasty sinus infection. I missed classes, barely slept, and had headaches galore. Don't you just love fall? Well, I actually do. Anyway, I want to recap on a show I was lucky enough to attend at Clowes Hal l: Mamma...

  • Circle Time! A Weekend Spent in the Center of Indy

You may have heard that Indianapolis is the Circle City but do you know where this name comes from? One reason is that our city is centered around a circle that features the 284 foot tall Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument . In case you were wondering, that is only 21 feet shorter than the Statue...

  • 80s Prom!

One of the things that the juniors and seniors at Butler are most proud of is our status as children of the 1980s. Yes, we are the babies of the decade, and we really don't have too many coherent memories from it, but it still makes us feel way more retro and cool to say we lived in such a ridiculous...

  • Butler's Best Dance Crews

One interesting college phenomenon is the lipsync. At Butler, we use this term on practically a weekly basis, and yet lipsyncs do not involve any singing or even mouthing the words. Butler's term "lipsync" is just another word for "group dance competition"- usually one that provides...

  • Flamenco!

In Cordoba, we went to a flamenco show! The dancers were AMAZING, the musicians were great and the costumes were very cool. Definitely one of my favorite nights out in Spain.

  • Parties in the Plaza

The Plaza de Cervantes is the heart of Alcala, and the place to hang out in the town where we studied abroad. At night it's where young people meet up to go out; during the evening families stroll by and visit their neighbors; during festivals, it is the center of the party. When we first moved to...

  • Soulja Dawg?

Last night at the OSU game, our mascot (the big character, not the real dog) performed Soulja Boy with the cheerleaders. ...another reason why we have the best program in the history of college basketball... hahaha (The real Blue II was also there, sporting his Dawg Pound shirt and being our good luck...

Kappa Alpha Psi, a historically black fraternity, and their Indianapolis Alumni Chapter did a step routine with canes and everything as the opening act for Geneva Stunts - very cool!
