Ready to Apply?

You’ll be considered for Transfer admission if:

• You've completed at 12 or more semester hours at another university, past high school graduation
• You've established a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all college-level courses that are 100-level or higher
• You've maintained good standing, academically and financially, with your last accredited institution

Transfer principles

• Only college-level courses numbered 100 or higher are accepted
• Remedial courses do not transfer
• Only courses from regionally accredited institutions are accepted
• A grade of a "C" or better is required for a course to transfer
• Generally, an equivalent number of credit hours are given for transfer credit

Your GPA from other schools does NOT transfer to Butler. Your GPA will be based only on the courses taken at Butler.
