Housing Options

Butler students live on campus through their junior year (< 90 credit hours) either in university or Greek housing.

Butler provides many housing options for students, including single-sex and coed halls, a suite-style facility for upper-class students, and an apartment building for upper-class students.

Residential College (ResCo): Suite-style living for 480 upperclass men and women
University Terrace: 1-3 bedroom apartments
Apartment Village: 4 single bedrooms and 2 baths surround a shared living room and kitchen. The Village opened in the fall of 2006 is built around the Dawg House, a community center featuring laundry facility, convenience store, computer lab and career resource room and game room.

A Resident Assistant lives on each unit to help students' transition to college and maximize their experience. A full-time Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) manages each residence hall. Faculty members live in three of the residence halls to facilitate a living-learning community. Opportunities for involvement and leadership abound!
